Artist Bio

Darby Shea Boggs is a fine artist living right outside Savanah, Georgia with her husband and sweet little boy. All through childhood and into her young adult years she expressed her creativity in a multitude of ways. Now, she balances both of her careers as an artist and pediatric physical therapist.

Artist Statement

The subjects in Darby’s art reflect her love of the natural south - botanicals, birds, and landscapes. While the subjects and materials vary in her work, each piece can be described as delicate, fresh, and dream-like. Her work is inspired by memories of gardening with her grandmother as a child, places she has visited, and the quiet scenes of everyday. Painting and preserving these slivers of time brings her indescribable joy, and she hopes that the paintings she creates bring at least a small measure of this joy into her collectors' homes.
